The Legend of the Monkey King

Together with the values emphasised by the Ministry of Education and the unique experiences of local students, the plot of this well-known story has been modified to bring it closer to heart.

In this 1-hour long production, the protagonist Sun Wu Kong shows his journey through his legendary life. Within the production, we are able to identify with many household names like “Borrowing treasure from the Sea Palace”, “Havoc in Heaven”,”Borrowing the palm fan”, etc., allowing audiences to have different experiences in one performance. Not only will students be able to benefit from the values taught in this production, they will also be able to cultivate good learning habits and hone their interest in the Chinese language.

Suitable for age 7-14.
