Contestants from primary and secondary schools will be provided with elements of a story on the spot, and given only a few minutes to create a story, before heading onstage for a live performance. The Cage
The Cage is Singapore’s First and Only Indoor Soccer Stadium. Conveniently located near The National Stadium, the cage houses 4 indoor soccer pitches. The size of each pitch allows for 4 or 5-a-side football played very close to the increasingly popular rules of Futsal – the FIFA endorsed version of mini-football. This means that players enjoy a flat surface that will be forgiving to both the knees and ankles. The facilities provided means it is a unique venue enjoyed by more than 20,000 every month. While they come from all walks of life, they are brought together by their love of football. They are not competitive footballers. They may play the game at a recreational level but follow it intensely. Young and old, day or night, social soccer or competitive, those who come to The Cage to play, talk, read, watch football. The Cage is the brain child of We Wanted to be Footballers Pte Ltd or WWTBF Pte Ltd for short. Run by a crew of football lovers, the partners bring together experience in event management, production, sponsorship marketing and advertising. More importantly, they have relevant experience in the football business. They have organized the Puma Street Soccer World Cup as well as were responsible for the conceptualization and execution of MOH’s Too Tuff to Puff programme.
