Parent-Child Talent Competition Preliminary Round Details

Thank you for your interest and support! Registration for the Speak Mandarin Campaign Parent-Child Talent Competition is now closed.

The Preliminary Round will be held on 6th April 2013. More details are as follows.

Time: Group 1 – 9.00am
Group 2 – 10.30am
Venue: St Nicholas Girls’ School
501 Ang Mo Kio Street 13
(Please report at canteen)

*Participants who have not received details of the Preliminary Round may wish to contact us at 6332 9136 or info@mandarin.org.sg

The judging criteria for the Preliminary Round will be as follows.

Expression (65%)

  • Chemistry between parent and child
  • Entertainment value
  • Language Use/Accuracy of Language
Content (35%)

  • Creativity
  • Educational value

Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Form a team of no more than three with your child/children.
  2. Register online at www.mandarin.org.sg/talent-competition from now till 08 March 2013.
  3. Prepare a five-minute performance and showcase it at the Speak Mandarin Campaign Parent-Child Talent Competition!

*(All performances must demonstrate use of Mandarin through speech e.g. skits/ storytelling)
